Agatha's Almanac

In the vast landscapes of Manitoba, 90-year-old Agatha leads a solitary yet rich existence on her ancestral family farm. Filmed on 16mm over six years by her niece Amalie Atkins, this poetic documentary captures Agatha’s disarming candor as she reflects on her life. Through the careful preservation of heirloom seeds and the craft of quilting, she reveals a deep, tangible connection to her ancestors. A poignant portrait of resilience and the quiet dignity of choosing one's own path against the tide of modernity.
