Cold War in Rotterdam

From Academy Award-winning director Pawel Pawlikowski comes Cold War, a sweeping and passionate romance set against the backdrop of the 1950s Cold War. When musician Wiktor scouts for new talent in Poland, he is captivated by the spirited singer Zula. What follows is an intense, volatile relationship played out across Poland, Berlin, Yugoslavia, and Paris. Destined to be together yet unable to find peace, they navigate a world of political instability. Loosely inspired by the director’s own parents, this is a timeless story of an impossible love in impossible times.
