Pixote in Rotterdam

Set against the backdrop of a brutal military dictatorship in 1980s Brazil, this raw drama follows eleven-year-old Pixote. After a violent escape from a juvenile detention center, he joins a group of displaced youths in the harsh underworld of São Paulo. In a society governed by the law of the weakest, they struggle to survive amidst crime, drugs, and prostitution.
