The Teacher Who Promised the Sea in Houten

In 1935, the idealistic teacher Antoni Benaiges makes a life-changing promise to his students in a remote Spanish village: he will take them to see the sea. His progressive teaching methods, however, mark him as a target in a nation heading toward darkness. 75 years later, Ariadna embarks on a quest to uncover the fate of her great-grandfather, who vanished during the Spanish Civil War. Her search leads her to a mass grave in Burgos, where she reveals the forgotten story of a man whose courage and vision transcended his time.
