Värn in Den Haag

Set during the Cold War, Swedish farmhand Karl-Göran Persson becomes fixated on the pamphlet 'Om kriget kommer' (If War Comes). What begins as a precautionary measure spirals into a life-defining obsession as he methodically transforms his isolated farmhouse into a fortress of scrap metal. As the line between the looming threat of invasion and his own internal reality blurs, the construction becomes a desperate, solitary quest for protection against an uncertain future.
